Application Specifications

• Theoretical Spreading Rate: 10m²/L per coat with a brush or roller; 5m²/L per coat when using an airless spray.
• Substrates: Compatible with GRP, wood, steel/iron, and lead surfaces. Not recommended for aluminium/alloy or zinc sprayed substrates.
• Drying Time: Varies from 20 minutes to 1 hour for touch dry, and 4 to 8 hours for immersion, depending on the temperature.
• Overcoating: Time windows vary from 4 to 16 hours, subject to ambient temperature.
• Max Immersion Time: Up to 6 months at temperatures between 5°C (41°F) to 35°C (95°F).

Preparation and Application

• Primer Use: Suitable primers include Gelshield 200, Primocon, or Interprotect based on the substrate.
• Thinning: Not recommended to preserve antifouling efficacy.
• Application Methods: Can be applied via airless spray (professional only), brush, or roller.
• Cleaner: YTA085 International Antifouling Thinners #3.

Performance Notes

• Max Speed: High-speed vessels (e.g., 30 knots) may experience accelerated wear reducing effectiveness
• Coverage: Provides practical coverage of 9m²/L per coat by brush/roller and 3m²/L per coat by spray.
• Coats Required: Two coats (brush/roller) or one coat (spray), with additional stripe coating on high-wear areas.
• Dry Film Thickness: 50 microns per coat (brush/roller), 100 microns per coat (spray).

Storage and Safety:

• Storage Conditions: Store between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F) and avoid direct sunlight.
• Safety Measures: Contains biocides; only wet sand, and consult safety guidelines for handling.
