Antifouling Paint
Antifouling - arguably one of the most important steps before your boat goes in the water for the season, when a good antifouling is used it keeps us travelling as fast and efficiently as possible, saves us time when she comes out and sometimes prevents hull damage by stopping growth on our hulls.
There are two main types of antifouling paint, Hard and Soft - Soft antifouls stop growth by eroding and releasing chemicals as you move - these are best suited for slower-moving boats although some are rated up to 30knots. Hard Antifouls create a hard surface and do not wear away. These are more suited for faster boats and racing yachts.
