We are based in Rosyth, Scotland, not far from the banks of the Firth of Forth, no matter if you are up in Shetland or down in the Southcoast of England or the Channel Islands with our courier network we get your items to you very quickly.

We have been operating officially since 2017 and in that time have built up a strong and ever-growing customer base. If you haven’t heard of us yet that is because we have recently invested in a new website which is giving us a lot more reach and also helps us give you as close to the shop experience with the convenience of online.

What does this mean? – Online is great, you have choice and you have convenience. But there are downsides. If you aren’t quite sure what it is you want or need, clicking buy can feel like a gamble. While going into a shop allows you to speak with an expert and be sure the product you are purchasing is the right one for you. But that is inconvenient.

We are keen boaters ourselves and on a sunny Saturday we would prefer to be out enjoying a boat rather than searching for things in shops. We are taking a technology-first approach to bring you the same usability that you have become used to when shopping online in other sectors, so you do not need to miss out on that trip when you need to buy parts for your boat.

Selling chandlery items and marine electronics online is challenging. With a huge number of products and no standardisation, most retailers offer between 5k to 15k products, often offering a large range from a small number of brands, or a small range from a large number of brands. This gives you less choice but it is still hard to find the product are looking for. So we are organising the products into their model lines – like we’ve come to expect from shoe and clothes shops.

Shrinking down categories, we turn hundreds of products into a select few for you to browse through, making it much easier to see what is actually available without endless scrolling through the different options of the same product. Adding relevant attributes for each category means you can quickly filter products down so you are only comparing products that exactly match your needs.

Powerful search puts the products you need in front of you – even when you are not 100% sure exactly what you need. Then with improved information on products we give you confidence that the product you buy is exactly what you need.

This allows us in time to add more leading brands which we do not currently offer, giving you more choice without categories being too big and overbearing to find anything. This has been our main reason up till now for leaving out certain brands who we have relationships with and could add.

If we say something is available in 1-2 days, you will have it in 1-2 days. Our commitment goes beyond just making the sale though. Crucially though, and where our commitment to service differs, is if there are issues with your equipment. Unlike some companies in this market, we are firmly on our customers side if the worst happens.
