An inverter charger combines the power of an inverter and a battery charger into one unit, saving space and ease of installation with less cabling. While hooked up to an AC source such as the grid or a generator, you can charge your batteries while running your household appliances without taking any power from your batteries. Meaning you have as much juice as possible for when you’re not hooked up to power.
Victron is renowned for their long-lasting build quality and ease of use, the Multiplus-II GX is no exception. It includes all the features of the Multiplus-II with a handy built-in display, WIFI and various networking ports making setting up a monitoring system much easier.
This inverter charger can power up to 2400W continuous and offer 70A of charge to your 24V batteries. When hooked up to grid power the inverter load is taken directly from the grid, the 2nd AC output goes live and you can run up to a total of 32A worth of appliances through output 1 or 2 without taking power from your batteries.

Inverter Charger Installation Guide
An Inverter/Charger with device networking built-in, the MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX communicates with a solar charger, batteries, and other devices to control a grid-connected, off-grid, or remote power installation. Capable of parallel operation for increased power output, or battery charge-rates, the MultiPlus-II GX can also be configured for three-phase supply. A host of advanced features – such as uninterrupted power supply, setting load limits, and supplementing limited grid-power availability with battery power – can all be controlled straight from your phone or smart device. Remote monitoring is also possible.
Features of the MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX
A MultiPlus-II with LCD and GX functionality
The MultiPlus-II GX integrates a MultiPlus-II inverter/charger and a GX device with a 2 x 16 character display.
Display and Wi-Fi
The display reads battery, inverter and solar charge controller parameters. The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device.
GX device
The integrated GX device includes:
A BMS-Can interface. This can be used to connect to a compatible CAN-bus managed battery. Note that this not a VE.Can compatible port.
A USB port.
A Ethernet port.
A VE.Direct port.
Applications
The MultiPlus-II GX is intended for applications where additional interfacing with other products and/or remote monitoring is required, such as on-grid or off-grid energy storage systems and certain mobile applications.
Parallel and three phase operation
Only one GX unit is needed in case of Parallel and three phase operation.
When coupled with a Cerbo GX you can monitor and control your MultiPlus-II GX and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to auto starting a backup generator and more…”
