Victron EasySolar-II GX Inverter/Charger 48V with Built-in MPPT
An inverter charger combines the power of an inverter and a battery charger into one unit, saving space and ease of installation with less cabling. While hooked up to an AC source such as the grid or a generator, you can charge your batteries and run your appliances straight from the source. Taking the load off your batteries ensuring you have plenty of juice in your batteries for when you’re not hooked up to power.
Victron is renowned for their long-lasting build quality and ease of use, the Easysolar-II GX is no exception, combining the Multiplus-II, a powerful MPPT solar charge controller, a built-in display, WIFI and various networking ports into one, this unit becomes the hub of your system making wiring and setting up a monitoring system much simpler.
This inverter charger can power AC and offer charge to your 48V batteries. When hooked up to grid power the inverter load is taken directly from the grid, the 2nd AC output goes live and you can run appliances through output 1 or 2 without taking power from your batteries. The in-built charge controller has the capacity to charge up to 70A from your solar panels.

The EasySolar-II 48/3000 GX combines an MPPT Solar Charge Controller, an inverter/charger and control hub in one enclosure. The product is easy to install, with a minimum of wiring.
Features of the EasySolar-II 48/3000 GX
The all-in-one solar power solution
The Victron EasySolar-II GX integrates the following elements:
- A MultiPlus-II inverter/charger
- A SmartSolar MPPT -Tr solar charge controller
- A GX device with a 2 x 16-character display.
These elements come prewired together inside a single unit. This greatly simplifies most installations, saving time and money.
Display and Wi-Fi
The display reads battery, inverter and solar charge controller parameters.
The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device.
In addition, Wi-Fi can be used to set up the system and to change settings.
Solar charge controller
The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is parallel wired with the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger.
The on/off mechanism of the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar MPPT.
GX device
The integrated GX device on the EasySolar-II includes:
- A BMS-Can interface. This can be used to connect to a compatible CAN-bus managed battery. Note that this not a VE.Can compatible port.
- A USB port
- An Ethernet port
- A VE.Direct port
The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the SmartSolar MPPT with respectively a VE.Bus and a VE.Direct connection.
