SeaTalk ng Backbone cable - 3 m. In a SeaTalk ng installation, a backbone cable runs through the length of the boat. Individual devices connect to the backbone by spur cables that run to T-pieces on the backbone. The backbone carries both data and power to attached devices. The backbone should be sized so that it will run past every location where an NG or NMEA 2000 device might be installed. Two backbone cable lengths can be joined together by part A06030, a backbone extender.

SeaTalk ng is a robust cabling and connection system compatible with NMEA 2000 built specifically for the marine environment comprising a powered single backbone with two terminators one at each end. Small diameter cable connectors are used throughout the system to make installation easier. There’s a wide range of cable lengths all with over-moulded plugs so there is no need to cut or splice cables. Spur cables connect individual SeaTalk ng products to the SeaTalk ng backbone.
Cables and connectors are colour-coded for easy system identification and have quick connect (push-fit twist-lock) waterproof (IPx6) plugs and sockets.

We make sure to list our stock so you know upfront when your order will be with you, most items we send are sent on next-day service as standard however some orders to harder-to-reach locations such as Scottish Islands or Channel Islands may go on a 48-hour delivery to keep delivery costs to a minimum.
