Distrobuting power to our multiple battery banks is important. There are a few ways we can do this - Relays (VSR's), Battery Isolators or DC-DC Chargers. We have a wide range to suit your specific needs so your batteries can last as long as possible.
Voltage Sensitive Relays & DC-DC chargers work in a similar way, they transfer power from one battery to another - for example from your starter battery that is charged off your alternator to your leisure bank. VSR's are simply a switch that will connect the two when one battery has enough power to do so. DC-DC chargers are more complex and allow you to go from one voltage to another, or from one battery type to another.
Battery Isolators also known as diodes basically create a hub that your alternator feeds into, power is then split evenly to each battery. Each battery is separated so your leisure batteries won't drain your starter battery, ensuring it is always full when needed.
