Correctly Sizing Your Battery Charger
The Mastervolt ChargeMaster Plus battery charger is designed to help batteries perform better and last longer, providing fast and complete charging wherever you are. It also performs the job of a battery isolator, prioritising charge to the battery that needs it most. The energy from the alternator is fed through to the batteries with the integrated VSR, meaning all your charging needs are provided by the ChargeMaster Plus. The charger is compact and the robust connections are ergonomic, making the unit very quick and easy to install.
The 3-STEP+ charging memory ensures more power and a longer life for your batteries, and will even charge depleted batteries. The ChargeMaster is suitable for all types of battery, and also has a wide input voltage range, which ensures perfect automatic operation anywhere in the world. The 24 Volt model can also provide charge to a 12 Volt battery, for example a starter battery, without additional components.
ChargeMaster Plus is MasterBus compatible, meaning they can be connected easily to a MasterBus system where you can operate and monitor all Mastervolt devices in one panel. In addition, they can also be linked via CZone and NMEA 2000 integrations without additional equipment, meaning it can link up with displays, shunts and power systems. Other communication standards like ModBus, CANopen, LinBus, etc. are supported via additional interfaces.
