Icom UK is pleased to introduce its new ‘regatta pack’, a compact/portable support solution, ideal for providing marine communications for RYA and ISAF affiliated clubs and organisations.

Utilising six of Icom’s best selling IC-M73 Euro Marine VHF radios, the ‘Regatta Pack’ comes contained in a peli style case together with six integrated fast chargers and power supply.

This solution is ideal for any organisation that deals with waterborne activities with enough radios to give to your safety crew, marshals and management team. Before an event, just open the regatta pack up and plug in the mains to charge…it’s that simple and convenient. At the end of the event, just wash the radios down, dry and return to their charging facilities ready to be deployed at your next event.

Icom M73 Euro:

The Icom M73 EURO is the counterpart to the Icom M73 PLUS, which incorporates a voice recording function and Icom’s Active Noise Cancelling Technology. This version has the basic functions of the “PLUS” version including IPX8 submersion rating, 6 watts high output, long battery life and a compact ergonomic body amongst many other features. As such, it will be ideal for all leisure and commercial customers who want a solid, dependable handheld VHF that they can rely on!

The Icom M73 EURO’s 6 Watts of transmit power will provide extended communication range for the user.

IPX8 Advanced Waterproofing
The Icom M73 EURO continues to offer Icom’s best waterproof protection. The radio has been tested to survive after being submersed in 1.5m (4.9ft) depth of water for 30 minutes. Use this radio in the rain, snow or any other severe weather conditions!

The Icom M73 EURO has a stylish, ergonomic design. A durable and rugged body provides for user friendly operation and long life. A wide viewing angle, high intensity LCD offers bright, easy to read characters.

VOX function for hands free operation*,**
With the OPC-1392 headset adapter cable you can use a variety of optional HS-94, HS-95 or HS-97 headsets*. The Icom M73 EURO has VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) capability for hands-free operation. Also, the VOX gain and VOX delay time are adjustable.
* Headsets, HS-94, HS-95 and HS-97 and OPC-1392 are not waterproof.
