This copper-based formula provides season-long protection, ensuring your hull remains free from marine growth, while also exhibiting excellent colour retention.

• Effective Polishing Action: Hempel's Classic offers an efficient erodible mechanism, gradually wearing away with water flow to reveal fresh, active layers for continuous antifouling protection.
• Compatibility: Ideal for fibreglass, wood, plywood, and steel hulls, this product is versatile but should not be used on aluminium or light alloy metals due to the risk of corrosion.
• Durability: With good mechanical strength, it resists cracking and maintains its semi-flat gloss and colour throughout the season.
• Environmentally Considerate: Compliant with EU regulations, it has a VOC content of 426 g/L.

Technical Specifications:

• Theoretical Spreading Rate: Efficient coverage at 13 m²/L [530 sq ft/US gal].
  
• Surface Preparation: Easy application following surface cleaning, suitable for both new builds and maintenance work. When changing from another antifouling brand or onto an epoxy primer, use Hempel Underwater Primer for optimal results.
• Application Conditions: Can be applied via brush, roller, or paint pad with a recommended thinning maximum of 5%. For vessels regularly exceeding 20 knots, three coats are recommended.
• Dry Film Thickness: Achieve optimal performance with a recommended 40 micron [1.6 mils] dry film thickness.
• Drying Time: Quick touch dry in as little as 9 minutes at 30°C, with a minimum 24-hour period before immersion at 20°C.
• Overcoating: No maximum interval for overcoating; however, ensure the surface is clean and free from contamination before re-application.
• Storage Stability: Comes with an impressive shelf life of 60 months when stored under appropriate conditions.
